Tellus
Insurance
Advisory Services Ltd offers pilots of
Singapore
Airlines and their families a favorable medical health insurance.

health insurance. Tellus has specialized, since 1991, in providing
people who live and work abroad with insurances solutions tailored
to their needs.
A
medical health insurance covers the expenses which derive from
hospitalization or a doctor’s visit. The insurance coverage is
worldwide and you have a free choice of hospitals and doctors. In
this medical health insurance you are also able to cover your
family members. You have a choice of four different standard
covers, depending on how high the insured sum per year should be
and also what the insurance should cover, for example pregnancy
and birth. For outpatient treatment you also have four different
choices depending of what kind of cover you would like. You
therefore have a flexible possibility to adjust the insurance
cover to fit you and your family.

What is covered in

Question to NHC: If an insured female would feel something in

cover this mammography?
Answer from NHC: Yes in this case the insurance company will
cover the expenses as this is not preventive care but an actual medical
case.
Receipts for
claims - when can the receipts be sent to the insurance company?
Question to NHC: As
soon as the client receives as receipt which should be covered by the
insurance, can the insured person send the receipt together with the claim
form to NHC even if there later on may be more receipts regarding the same
illness/Injury. Especially in Singapore there can be many receipts before
something is 100% cured and the insured persons don’t want to have the
situation where they have to pay up to 1000 EUR before they receives any
compensation from the insurance company just because the illness/injury is
not cured/finished yet.
Answer from NHC: Yes, they can send their claims even
though the treament is still going on. For those who want to wait (small
claims thoughtout the year) can wait to to max. 2 years.
A longer
explanation regarding that NHC do not cover known congenital diseases
The insurance does not cover known congenital diseases.
For children, which birth has been covered by the insurance, expenses
for treatment of birth defects, inherited disorders or malformations

maximum of EUR 40,000 per childbirth for the whole insurance period

policy.
